  • I needed to smile today, perhaps you too.

I will put up the rest of Pastor Don’s Bible study later today, but this morning was one full of teenage drama and angst. I needed a laugh and my sister-in-law provided one this morning.

I do think that this computer desk has some interesting prospects.

    Have a blessed day!

  • Thans I needed a laugh

  • Very funny! Needed the laugh too this morning!

  • I had some extra time this morning and found myself reading your testimony. I love hearing how people meet the Lord and what in their past got them to that point. Your story was hard to read because I understand the sexual abuse all to well (not my father, but classmates). I, in the past few years have gone through intense healing from this. And it was good to hear that you are married. For me it is always difficult to imagine having a marriage, I was terrified of guys and still on occasion have that fear in the back of my mind. But it is always encouraging for me to meet someone that has gone through similar situations and come out victorious. Its good to be reminded that it is possible to have a good marriage after this and there are guys that will respect and honor me. My college roommate once tried to wake me up by grabbing both of my shoulders very close to my neck – it didnt end well, I woke up and instinctivley threw her off. It caught her off guard and she went flying back across our room and broke her closet door. It was the first and last time she ever tried to wake me up! Anyway, I must get going but once again, thanks for sharing. You are a wonderful encouragement to other women.

       Blessings to you – Jaclyn

  • ha… i guess those are pretty witty. hey, check out bobsmiley.com. the guy’s a great Christian comedian, very funny, and incorporates the Lord into His messages. also check out his free newsletters, they’re pretty funny! :)

  • OMG! what a unique post from YOU! but I loved it! Yes, sometimes we all need to lighten up. My aunt, with five kids, told me when my kids were young “they get older” it was a help then. and it can be a help now! They will get older. There is a God. Actually, I really think so much of the “fuss” is because the bond is so incredibly strong, and in order for them to be on “their own” as adults they need to create some space. It is awkward. at one juncture, I was brainwashing my self with images of the mama bird pushing baby out of the nest. SOme species do it this way. Others, the mom just flies away and the LONGING pulls her baby out. Good to study!

  • Hi Heather,
Pretty cute quips.  Just thought I’d drop in a say, “hello.”  May God bless you throughout your day.
