This has been one of those hectic days, the kind where you move from one thing to the next, but I had to stop and share a praise report with you.
Today Jim decided to call and make an appointment with his doctor, and got refills for his prescriptions. Now I am praying he takes them the way they are prescribed.
The night before last I was so scared of how he was breathing that I got up, anointed him with oil and prayed over him while he was sleeping and then prayed Ephesians 1 over him. He did not wake up, but the next day he said he was going to go to the doctor.
I have been biting my tongue, not asking what made him make the choice, or pushing him to do it earlier, I was practically chewing the inside of my mouth when it got to be 2 this afternoon and he hadn’t done anything. But I am glad I did not speak out because he might have used that as an excuse to not act.
I want to thank you for all your prayers. And the next prayers I am asking for is that these medicines work so well that Jim finds out that he is healed and does not need them, but he finds this out from his doctor.
I am still praying hard, but at least one worry is eased.
I love this man so much I don’t want him to take risks that are foolish.

Heather, Have you ever read the book, “Power of A Praying Wife” by Stormie Omartian? It is an awesome book and offers prayers and scripture based on your husband’s circumstances…example:work, affection, temptations, fears, and HEALTH, to name a few
She has a book for husbands to pray for their wives and for parents/children. They help me so much…just thought you might be interested.

That is wonderful news…thanks for the update.
RYC: I hear ya! I look forward to that day, too. God can still do miracles… the first one would be in changing me.
Praise God….he still answers prayers….have a great day…

Take 4 Collars like dogs put all 3 in them and you hold the master collar in your hands their is your visit to the churches , hahahahah Mike
I understand about the place of being afraid when your husband is not doing well….it’s a real challenge to trust God with your husband when there’s health issues…..I didn’t want to be a widow in my 40′s!! Thankfully we have come through that season and he is better! Thanks for your comment…..I am tired of “pain” too……but know that God is in control and I am not…..helps to get through things better…..may God fill you continually with His Spirit so you know what to do and say……or not do and say!
I’m so glad your worries are being relieved. I’ve been praying.
Hi Heather. Hope that you are doing good this fine Tuesday!
Robert
husbands cann be the greatest challenge of a lifetime!
praying…………….
i thought i commented here once. life hasn been hectic again! bad memory!
I agree, Power of a Praying Wife is a greta book. read it right after marriage and as I read it I made a list of all the ways I needed to pray for my husband and it helps me remember specific things he needs prayer cover for. Just the fact that your husband has now decided to go back to the doctor is an answer to prayer. Praise God! Hang in there, nothing happens outside of Gods will for our lives.
Hi and thank you for the welcome! I’m so glad your husband decided to go to the doctor, what a wonderful answer to prayer. May God bless you and your husband today!
Woo Hooo!!!!! What a gift from God!!!!
Steps in the right direction. Wonderful news. Yes, still praying.
I am so glad Heather. What a relief for you. I continue to pray.
I agree with what you said about time and patience with people. People want me to get over the pain that comes with the circumstances in my life. I am sorry, it just takes time. But they think it means I am not relying on God enough. That is why so many have left me and my family in the wayside. We are not what they want us to be in thier minds.
Pastor Don is a gem.
I have put a comment on my site addressing your concerns; thank you for your comment. It helped clarify the post.
Grace & Peace,

You are so right Heather! (re: your comment to me!) Blessings to you!!
Thanks for the encouragement! Men are so funny about going to the doctor, it’s just their nature. I will be praying for wisdom for him, because God did give us doctors for a reason. May I also suggest Psalms 91 for pray in ur household @ day. It’s one of my favorites that I’ve memorized from saying it so much. The best part is that it works. My son use to have nightmares until I started praying this Psalm over him @ night before he goes to bed. Have a Great Day and God Bless!

Thanks for subscribing to my site…..might I inquire what led you to do so? I’m HOPING you stumbled across my “Manliness” studies and liked THEM,because frankly,I can USE a little encouragement regarding them. With the exception of my wife,I’m hearing an ominous SILENCE regarding them…..
Thanks for clarifying…..I just added a special post inviting comments on my “Manliness,Part 1″ and “Manliness,Part 2″….I would welcome your input as you seem to be a godly woman. Thank you,and thanks again for subscribing! P.S.,great profile pic!
Hi Heather TY for your prayers, I am home now but a long road ahead…prayers still for your family! GOD BLESS YOU …..big hugs
How great are you to act on your feelings and get up in the middle of the night and pray over him. What a blessing you are in his life!
Thank you for your prayers. He came home happy that they noticed some positive changes about him, but I think his blood pressure and cholesteral is still not in good ranges. But at least he did not hear dire stuff. Friday he has some blood tests and he is going back to chelation. I know that I feel better that he is doing these things, and I pray that one day God will heal him completely. I know that can happen, but as Pastor Don told me, God can use doctors, and what is cool is when a healing occurs that can be verified by doctor’s reports. So I am putting that into Jim’s mind as well.
I told him that his visiting a doctor is the best present he could give me, for it relieves my mind.

Thanks for your comments,I left you a response. I appreciate you taking time……
Thanks so much for your comment. I will look up those entries for I love seeing the pursuit of the Lord. He is so magnificent & worthy!
Good to hear he’s going to the doctor!
great news. glad he went and the report decent at least. proud man goes to the doctor, you know he loves you … you also know the power of prayer.
i am a friend of robbwylde, and while i don’t want to get into a debate that i’m not a part of, i would like to share with you a couple thoughts of my own. you mentioned on his site that there are many people in born again churches that are not saved. absolutly correct. the problem that i have discovered (having once been one of those people) is that in many many churches the Gospel is misconceived and/or many parts of the Bible are not preached at all. whether it be the Catholic church or not, Rob and i both have a passion for sharing these vitally important parts of God’s Word with Christians who believe they have a “free will.” as far as i understand, there great benefit in having these types of deep, sometimes really tough discussions. God is glorified through it by our praise to His righteousness.
In Christ Alone,
Ben
