I got to see Pastor Don today, and spent a lot of time crying and talking with him about the things happening in our house. He said that he will talk with Jim man to man about things, but also told me that I had to put things into God’s hands and not worry or I would be another health problem. He gave me a Kenneth Hagin book on how not to worry, and gave Jim one (Jim wasn’t there) about faith. Because if he is going to believe in faith for his healing, he has to know what faith is and work with Pastor Don on faith.
But Pastor Don also told me that Jim is not making wise choices, that it isn’t lack of faith if you go and get confirmation of your healing from a doctor, or work with a doctor to effect your healing.
I feel better in that we prayed over this, and Pastor Don will work on this too. But I can and do still need prayer, for I have to work at increasing my trust in God.
Thanks for listening and helping in this, I am scared, but less so now.
Heather

Love-n-Hugs, Bee
We will continue to lift you in prayer as long as you need it. Please seek the peace that God Holy Spirit has for you through prayer and allow God to have His will at all. ROM 8:28
Remember always that you are loved beyond measures.
HUGS,

Sounds like a good pastor! God is good… all the time. And all the time… God is good!
I would take confidence from the first chapter of James…
James 1:2-4 Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 But endurance must do its complete work, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
How often is our faith in God tested and our understand of his greatness grows in proportion to the testing… if we are focused on him!
I know it’s hard, but don’t allow yourself to get caught up in self pity. Even if you have to force yourself, keep praing God for who He is and thanking Him for all the blessings He has given to you, and ackknowledging that He knows what’s going on and trust Him, without questioning Him. Remember what He said to Job. Where were you when I created the foundations of the world? That’s right. Where were we? When my dad was dying, the only way I could fall asleep some nights was to FORCE myself to do these things. And when I did, God gave me peace.
Still praying for you and yours!!!!!
Awwwwww I am glad you were able to talk to Pastor Don. God truely has given you a gift there. And how wonderful that he is going to talk to Jim. Yay! Sometimes I want to hug Pastor Don for his Godly wisdom and care for you.
I have tears in my eyes right now for you Heather. I feel your hurt and care for you soooo much…
Your sis…Marlene
Glad your feeling a bit better about things now. Hopefully the pastors talk with Jim will do some good.
I’ll be praying for you…..
Good you have the pastor to talk to. How not to worry…it sounds so simple but I have a way of making things complicated.
Thank you so much for your prayers and concern. I gladly join you in prayer for you, your husband and your family … good times and bad.
You are such an encouraging sister in Christ to me. I just want you to know I look forward to your comments and feel we share a kindred spirit fromt the painful paths we have walked. Prayers for you that God will help with the trust issues. I share those same weaknesses, but He is faithful..Blessings……….
It sounds like you have a REAL shepherd there! Rare nowadays.
I pray the Lord gives you strength and wisdom during this trial. ((HUGS))
I’m glad things are starting to look a little more hopeful!!
Hang in there.
The word says “where there are two or three agreeing, tounching anything. that it shall be done”! Just think of all the people that are praying for you. Don’t lose hope! Your answers are on the way! Just remember, God’s time is not our time. We want it NOW, but God knows when it is the right for us.
Hi Heather,
I don’t mind you reading my posts in the slightest! I’m glad that they interest you.
While you are praying for your 3 teenage daughters to develop a strong, beautiful faith – I’m praying for my family, that they will also.
I’m not exactly sure what is happening in your house hold but I’ll be praying for you and your family for sure.
God bless you
