  • Ah, our house is a bit quieter now.  I just got back from dropping off Edward at his college – first year Rochester Institute of Technology.

    Here are a few pictures.

My last view of Edward before driving back home.

While I was taking Edward to college up North, Jim (my husband) was driving Christopher down South to his college, Univ. of Richmond.   They seemed to be able to make a stop at  Cabella’s.

Have a blessed day.  Now that the happy chaos is settling, I should be back more consistently on Xanga.

  • Bittersweet, seeing them grow up and grow away, praying for you during this time of transition. Blessings!

  • Aw, I imagine you’re sad and happy for your sons!

  • Two good looking young men you have there. That last pic of your son when you are driving away that would have torn me up. I remember the last hug I gave Melea before she moved to IL very hard. Cody’s big dreams are to finish high school, get his massage therapy license and work on a cruise ship.

    Love ya, Darlena

  • A fine young man. Be proud. God has blessed you and you’ve many blessings to glory in.

  • Changes for you, too! prayers. you have loved him and raised him well…now the wings must stretch….as you know. And of course, he remains in our God’s tender care.
