  • Kings of Israel

Am in the middle of looking up a bunch of Bible verses for Pastor Don. Thought you might like to see a handout for an upcoming Bible study that I am going to do on the Kings of Israel and Judah.  Here is the facts of the kings of Israel, helps in completing the Good king/Bad king chart. I wanted to see which prophets were active at the times of the kings and some of the general information. I am still working on a similar list of the Kings of Judah. Hope this is helpful.

  • Lots of kings. Most of them loosers. Any wonder politics is so corrupt?

  • I’m copying and borrowing this listing of Israel’s kings to use with my students.  If you have any objection, please message me and i’ll drop it.  Good work!

  • @NonNobis1963 - Not a problem at all. If you message me with your email I will send it as an attachment, and I am in the midst of working on the kings of Judah too. Check down a few postings, and you will find a chart called “Good Kings/Bad kings” and the students can go and decide by reading which were the good and which were the bad.  Eventually there will be a more detailed study. I am happy to send as an attachment which might make it easier to print.

  • I did a chart on this, once.  I spanned out the reigns of the two kingdoms and did the good guys in blue and the bad guys in red and it was really kewl.  Wonder if I still have that…?

  • @Anna - Oh, if you do, please let me have the link, I would love to compare charts.

  • @FKIProfessor - LOL, and it seems like things haven’t changed much since then either.
