We are beginning to lose some of our snow, but I have been watching my Texas subscribers showing their snow pictures, so I thought I would show a few of my own from a bit ago. My oldest was back at Christmas when we got a major blizzard – have had a few more since then, so the snow is so deep, that we still can’t get one of our cars out.
Here are some pictures from my window (and it is still pretty accurate). Yes, my middle son was helping to build a snowman in shorts, his choice.
To get an idea of scale, my two sons are about six feet tall.
This is a gruesome snowman scene, for the one on the ground is impaled with an icicle
Here are Katherine and Edward in a more recent storm.
We still have way too much snow remaining in spite of a week of warm weather.
Have a blessed night.

I caught your post right before I was signing off and glad I did…. look at those snowmen… look at the SNOW! Wow!
Good job to the boys!!
Have a great weekend… Spring Forward!
Hugs!
Oh my word that is picture out of Calvin and Hobbs! Hilarious
@daisymae81 - I am impressed myself. I added a couple more pictures. It has been an incredible winter. I am waiting, waiting, waiting for spring.

@Donna7 - You are right, they have an imagination. Last year he put a snowman up near our mailbox, laying on the ground looking like he was swimming – with a sharkfin in the “water” near the snowman. People were stopping to take pictures.

Great Pictures! I wish we could get some of that snow, but it rarely snows in Mississippi. It mostly rains here……
Now that is ALOT of Snow!…………….Have a Blessed Sunday!…………In Christ’s Love…….Monic
We had our first blizzard, and by new york amounts, this wasnt much.Columbus had 20 inches. The snowmen remind me of Calvin and Hobbes, and how Calvin would design different snowmen doing different things! Have a great Sunday!
Wow, that’s alot of snow…for March, no????
RYC: I do think there needs to be a balance with ‘head knowledge’ with the heart and the will…and that balance is centered on all three aspect of a person being biblical in all three areas…right mind, right attitude, right compassion, right emotions with GOd…
Amen?
That outline, I was looking at it again, seem so much more on Xanga format than on paper…but our church is not just only Sunday school…there’s Prayer, servant ministries and hearing the WOrd of God preached verse by verse…
Thank you sister for your concern! I really mean it!
wow, awesome pics and i bet it was fun to build those snowmen… it’s been quite a while since the last time when we had enough snow to build a snowman… we’re losers, i know
ryc: awww, thanks for sharing that vision about kiddos’ kisses… it’s so true… i’m speechless because that mind’s-eye image speaks tons of emotion and words are not necessary… thank you.
*hugs* and a snowball

so cute! and looks like fun. I bet God has these in His album!
WOW! I can’t imagine! BE SAFE! I’ll think of you while I sit on the beach today..
thanks for the pictures Heather!
I wish we had seen some snow here this year, but just a few flurries. *sigh
@zenichka - You know, it spoke volumes to me also. I am always blown away by how much He loves us, and occasionally He gives me a few images like that of His awesome love. One other vision he gave me was early on in my faith. I had always imagined keeping Jesus at arms length. One day He coaxed me to come and sit beside Him, took His prayer shawl and wrapped it around Him and me, kind of like cuddling with a little child on a cold day under a blanket. And He told me to be sure and tell people that there is room for all underneath His wings.

You are probably really tired of all that snow, but to someone like me who hardly evers sees it, it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
love u…
Nepal is known by the tallest peak, but most of the snow is where no one lives and most of the population does not even see snow fall here. ryc: right, I took the quiz for curiosity and was impressed with how it related to what I had felt about who I was!
I’ve often wondered how people can create “art” out of ice and snow…that is so cool. We are in the middle of a blizzard too, 12 inches yesterday and 12 the day before.
There is a tradition in Saranac Lake (near Lake Placid—not too far away) that happens every year. They carve ice into castles and beautiful back-lit sculptures that you can actually walk through! I bet this year will be beautiful…or did I already miss it???Anyway, cool pics.

Wow! What cool pics of the snow, and snowman! Your sons did a great job building them. Living in Texas (at least the part we live in) I have never seen that much snow in person, in my life.
I know pretty terrible huh?
RYC: Sure! I would love to tell you my plans I’m praying about after graduation. I have a lot of people curious as to what my plans are, and my opinions about college etc.., so instead of writing it all here in a comment, feel free to come and check out my new post I’ll be putting up in the next couple of days about all that and a lot of other questions people ask about not going to college.
Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday!
Blessings, ~Michelle
Wow. I complained about the snow this year and we had enough to build a tiny snowman. If all that thawed at once you would have a lot of water to deal with.
I wish we could have more snow here in Austin! They had a lot of it in Dallas.
I didn’t see where you’re at but that looks like a lot of snow!
Sigh, I’m so tired of the white stuff. Hopefully, Central IL is done with it.
Thanks for reading and for the info about xanga. I just have had people try to post a comment in the past and not be able to.
some scary snowmen.
I think we’ve had the last of the snow here in TX. We might have tommorow. Strange, I’ve been in the Dallas area for some 15 years and we haven’t had snow this late. But it is a nice change from wind, rain, n tornadoes.
Looks like your 3 had a great time. (Been reading too many Calvin & Hobbes cartoons – those snowmen look just like the ones in the Calvin strips.)
That is A LOT OF SNOW!!! We have had a lot, too in our area. Staying warm – inside!
Cool pictures! Looks like they really had fun… =)
@drawyoursocks - You are right, snow is better, and when it melts it gets into your aquifer and that will help you have more water, less drought.
Heather
those snowmen are great, your kids have wonderful imaginations. good looking kids too!
LOL Looks like a “Calvin and Hobbes” theme there!
beautiful snow… and snowmen…and snowkids!
@wisdomfromme - LOL, I think the snowkids are my favorites.
