Ask a question
We had a great Bible study today on prophesy, but I want to be more alert when I type the notes, so will start doing them tomorrow. It takes about 3 to 4 hours to get them properly typed up with Bible passages, etc. My oldest son has a college interview tomorrow, fortunately local, and I still have a gillion things to do before Christmas. My middle son wants to try and do an Italian tradition of having 12 kinds of fish for Christmas. Has anyone done that? If so, what do you suggest to make it easiest. My husband is behind this idea 100% and I am sadly realizing that turkey, my favorite will not be on the menu, sigh. I may get my turkey though once they go on sale after Christmas.
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas, and will try to get to your sites asap. Praying peace and joy in your households. For me, I am looking forward to Christmas Day and what it means. We still have to put up our tree, it is outside getting rained on, and we want it a bit drier before we bring it in. I can’t wait to smell the pine. We keep our tree up until the needles almost all fall off.
A friend of ours gave my husband a huge sprig of bamboo for a picture he wanted to take. We put it up in the Christmas tree spot (kind of looked like the Peanut’s Christmas Tree). My middle son did a double take, not noticing it even though he was sitting 3 inches away, so we told him it was our tree, that the needles had fallen. We had a good laugh. I live for those moments of laughter.
Anyway, I am putting myself at your mercy. Feel free to ask any question you like – as long as it stays within the bounds of propriety. I will try to answer it. It can be personal or Biblical.
Have a Merry Christmas,
Heather

We leave our tree up until we physically can’t anymore, but that may be more laziness than anything else! I feel bad asking a question of someone I don’t know though, so I’ll just say have a merry Christmas!
My husband will keep thr tree up all year if I let him.Have a Merry Christmas

Merry CHRISTmas! Enjoy the season.
I loved the picture that I got of your son’s face!
Hmmmmmmmm… what question might I come up with???… well, most humans tends to hover in the comfort zone rather than stepping boldly into the God-zone. You may be different than most, but is there a specific calling that you feel God is asking you to step into presently that is out of your comfort zone and you are wrestling with Him or perhaps just wrestling with yourself?
Heather, have a wonderful holiday… thank you for the blessings of your sharing and teaching. ~Sherry
Hi Heather,

Merry Christmas to you and your family! Fish! Wow! I have never heard of having fish for Christmas. But I like fish so, count me in:)
Hmm, one thing i’ve been curious about, is, do your children have the same fire for the Lord as you do? You’ve become a believer since your kids have been born.Has your past influenced your kids in their belief system? I know our children are influenced by our faith, our walk. When they see our faith in action, it can influence them toward God, or turn them off. How has this affected your childrens faith.
Fish for christmas? thats a new one. We like broiled salmon, but i dont know 14 other fish to tell you !
Have a Merry Christmas Heather! love,Becky

Merry Christmas! BR
Have a good weekend. A bamboo tree sounds perfect.
Hi Heather, I am noticing I missed this entry! I had posted on the previous one. : )
We usually just did cod fish on New Years Eve with Spinguinni…(pizza bread). I’ve never had fish on Christmas before although my MIL is requesting an Italian style Christmas which is probably going to be lot’s of pasta, raviolis and Italian roasted chicken…Italian green beans, eggplant, etc. Let me know if I can help! I do have some pretty good recipes for fish and other things too! : )
Merry Christmas! ~Amelia
Merry Christmas. Bamboo tree – interesting. Question: Have you heard anything about Israel obtaining a Red Heifer – in reference to prophecy?
Interesting – we did fish for Thanksgiving. We’re all wanting to eat healthier.
Unforutnately I don’t have any suggestions on how to make it easy. Just thought I’d share that we had our favorites of salmon and tilapia cooked with peppers and onion. And then the usual thanksgiving sides. We enjoyed. I had no idea it was an Italian thing. we thought we were being original and odd. hehe
Merry Christmas, Happy holidays.
MERRY CHRISTMAS HEATHER!
And a Merry Christmas to you, Heather. My wife and I are very blessed with family and friends like you. True friends are special jewels in one’s life and I regard each relationship as kin to the Christ we all love. We bless you and the lovely spirit we sense in all your writings. God be with you in the coming years. With Christ’s love, Gary and Arline.
Thank you for your message wishing us a Merry Christmas. May the Spirit of Christmas bless you and your family beyond your expectations and that the miracle of His birth would continue to bless you and yours throughout the year.
Love,
