My eldest son spent seven hours on the computer doing three or four major projects, including a speech in Spanish. I am glad he worked so hard, but then my husband took over the computer for work. Soon we will be getting a splitter and that might make things easier. Right now it is too late to type up notes from tonight’s Bible study, I will get to them tomorrow afternoon, so you will have to have patience – by the way, guess what the topic of the Bible study was? Patience.
So I thought I would give you a few pictures for fun. The first one is a wedding picture from my father-in-law and mother-in-law’s wedding. And a very young Sid Caesar is in the picture, he used to play for my husband’s uncle’s band.
Below is another wedding picture. Left to right is Grandpa Francesco, Grandma Rose, Grandpa Henry, Grandma Anna, father & mother. In a back row above and to our right of Grandma Anna, Sid Caesar, playing in Uncle Johnny’s band. When I first met my husband he had a houseboat on the Hudson River, I used to spend hours there and after we married we spent a lot of time there. You really did not feel like you were in New York City when you lived in the Boat Basin. When we were in New York City a few weeks ago my husband took lots of pictures of that parabolic mirror that was at Rockefeller Center. Here are a few more shots that you might like. Our kids aand I are standing on the curb. Then we went to the parking garage to get our car and Jim found a miniature version of the parabolic mirror in the parking garage, so you actually see a picture of him taking the picture. Have I told you that I love my husband’s sense of humor?Hope you enjoy these pictures. I will type my notes as soon as I can.
Heather

RYC: Oh, dear Heather, I really wasn’t correcting you..I was just covering the bases!! After all, I am the reigning queen of typos! hehee There is little danger of anyone usurping my throne! hehee
How neat a celeb like Sid Caesar at your in-law’s wedding, how neat…I saw Sid Caesar’s wife, Imogene Coca in a play when I was in High School in NY….Thanks for your prayers!!
Mike
I like your husband’s humor.
Cool pictures! It is fun to be creative!
Wow, I love these photos!
RYC: But Heather, you *are* on my protected list! However, for some reason, my protected posts only show up on the subscriptions browser and not my blog. No one, including me, can see them there. It’s weird.
Blessings to you! I enjoyed those pictures a lot thanks for that! So, we need to see a picture of you….Have a great day!
Great pictures - Wow, Sid Caesar!
those pix were so much fun to look at, heather! thanks for sharing them with us! i’m back from my trip to arkansas and had a nice respite away. considering i’d never done anything like that before and had taken the dogs with me, i think it all went pretty well. it’s pretty cold here compared to there, and even after just a few days in the warmth my pores are shell-shocked coming back and hitting that icy chicago wind! it’s raining today,so i’m glad that i got all the unpacking and cleaning up of the van done before that. i’m very thankful for my furnace today! well, take care, just wanted to check in on ya and say howdy!
I love the pictures. Thanks for sharing such wonderful family treasures with us all. Old Hat
Wow Heather!!! I LOVE thise pics….They are wonderful!!!! That is so cool….Sid Caeser! I am very partial to New York. My beautiful stepdad was from NY. Do I see a family resemblence in the bride there and your children?
I grew up on the water and the boat harbor shot looks very much like my uncle’s yacht basin. The water is peaceful and serene isn’t it? It’s good that you were able to enjoy the quiet water and also the big city too. Rockefeller plaza looks wonderful! I have a webcam site and every now and then I’ll go to it and see what Time Square looks like, the weather, is it snowing…etc. how people are dressed, jackets, coats, etc.
I am also half german and half italian…and yes…you are right. It makes for quite a colorful personality indeed! ; )
I’ll be back with the fam to show them your neat pics! Hugs! Amelia
