Was hoping that I would have time to write a new blog, but probably won’t. This afternoon is our Women’s Luncheon at church, and then in the Evening my Girl Scout troop is having a sleepover (should call it an awake over), and I will be there. They are working a bit on their silver projects, and then we experiment with our hair, do nails, a few arts and crafts, watch movies, eat Chineese food, and popcorn and snacks and hopefully do a lot of talking over these activities. Sometimes unstructured events like this are great ways to hear their concerns and put in a few good ideas during the fun times. Pray that this is a fun and productive night.

In response to your comment, I definitely see where you’re coming from.
Forcing Christianity or any of my beliefs on anyone is not the way I like to go about things. I know that if someone had tried to do that to me before I became a Christian, I would have just been pushed away from Christianity further. It was only because my friend showed me what Christianity was about (rather than just telling me) that I was lead to Christ. She didn’t shove anything on me, but was instead patient and just lived her life for God. It was her unfailing passion to live her life for God, and the way she lived her life that pointed me in the direction of Jesus.
You’re an angel! thanks for the synopsis! I loved it….. It must be a lot of work for you, but please, if you want to continue…that is about the time I have now. ….Bite (or byte?) size! Loved the message. Please keep Mike in your prayers. He survived service in Afghanistan, and was shot dead in his aprtment yesterday after a break-in. Too sad. Young man, maybe 22. Bring the message home…we ARE at war….culture war,….giving it all to God.
