on_target (http://www.xanga.com/on_target) posted this site on her blogring, I have to share it here because it touched a deep chord in me. I have to tell you that it made me cry because I think of all those years of prayer and intercession that the lies of satan kept me from – I never talked with God after the age of 8, until recently, and that saddens me much. But the prayers of these children are so powerful.
Here is the site.

RYC: We all fail in that category, but we all try our best. ~ NO ONE UNDERSTANDS LIKE JESUS by John W. Peterson ~ No One Understands Like Jesus, He’s a friend beyond compare; Meet Him at the throne of mercy, He is waiting for you there. ~ No one understands like Jesus, Every woe He sees and feels; Tenderly He whispers comfort, And the broken heart he heals. ~ No one understands like Jesus,When the foes of life assail; You should never be discouraged, Jesus cares and will not fail. ~ No one understands like Jesus, When you falter on the way, Though you failed Him, sadly failed Him, He will pardon you today. ~ No one understands like Jesus, When the days are dark and grim; No one is so near, so dear as Jesus – Cast your every care on Him. ~ Blessings ~Carolyn
Carolyn is right. Try not to think too much about what you “missed out on” because of the lies you believed. Use that only as a springboard to cherish and always continue in what you have now, and make sure you never get “separated” again. Paul said nothing can ever separate us from the love of God… the leader of our church many years ago said, “if you get far from God, who moved?” His point was that God is there for you always, and He won’t ever “move away” from you, so don’t you move from Him, and things will be just fine! Love always, Gerrie

Hey, just stopping by to see what was up. You came by for my birthday posting, & thank you very much for that by the way.
I hope you have a good week!
Don’t know what to think about the children’s prayer site, but I wanted to thank you for sharing your life on this xanga. You’ve been an encouragement to me… I hope that encourages you. And I will pray that you will see how much God really loves you.
I don’t know if you remember, but you said you’d pray about that eye-twitch thing… well, thank-you! It left, finally, a couple weeks before school let out. And it hasn’t returned!
Thanks for sharing your experience. Thanks for your nice comments too. I appreciate that. =)
God bless you, sister.
Kenneth
From what I am seeing this is beautiful and powerful. I will return later to see the entire presentation. I also love the comment on family altar…so true…so true….I’ll be returning later when I have more time to glean. Have a blessed day! ~Amelia
Thanks for the weblink. Prayer is something I lack in my life, at least the more lengthier ones.
Prayer, that’s what works. not just to talk to God, but to communicate with him….big difference. He ALL ways answers. but many times we don’t hear him. I too will come back to the site. thanks. rex
remember to pray ALL ways….
I viewed the entire film. This is powerful. It made me want to sit and cry. Oh God have mercy on us. I will share this with others. Thanks so much for sharing this. I appreciate it. May God be glorified.
We’ve never met in person, but I stumbled onto your xanga. I’m encouraged by what you post on your xanga. I hope it’s ok with you that I subscribed to your xanga. If you don’t want me to subscribe, I’ll unsubscribe. Just let me know. Please keep on sharing. Have a blessed day.
The Chronicles of Narnia really helped me see Jesus as who He is. I guess I have a childlike mind and that did it for me.
In His presence is FULLNESS of joy, May He make you drunk with His love.
Abuse is such a horror in this world. I hope one of these days it can stop. G-d is beautiful but I don’t think easily understood (and I think that’s ok). Happy Day!!!
