For Darlena, here is the book I am talking about. This is an awesome books that explains the 23rd Psalm and really gives us a good look at Jesus and how he takes care of us sheep, who are not all that smart.
Oh Heather, I absolutely love the books by Phillip Keller. He is so insightful! I hope that you have a wonderful week! Loving prayers for my friend . . . Carolyn

Hi there and thanks for dropping by. I understand the short spans of time when you have access to the computer. I usually wait till late night to write because there is usually a lot of noise going on and it is hard to think clearly….i have a problem with that anyway. I enjoyed all of the play on words in your last post they were good. I hope you have a great week, be strong in the Lord and rest well and find peace in the Lord in all you do…yer ol bro..)m(
im a sheep. bah. bah. lol…
Miss Heather,
Good Morning! I will most likely go and pick up that book, it does sound interesting, and it appears that the author is candid and straight-forward.
Psalm 19:7 (NKJV)
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;
God grants us the wisdom we need. God grants us the ability to grow in His wisdom, His knowledge, His understanding. Many times it goes directly against what this world would have us to believe.
God teaches us 7 days of creation, the world teaches us billions of years of getting it right. God teaches us that there is an end to all things, the world would have us believe that we can have our cake and eat it too. God teaches us that too much of a good thing will make you sick, the world would have us to believe that too much is never enough. God teaches us that our treasure is stored in heaven, the world teaches us that we can take it with us. God teaches us that coveting, adultery and fornication are all wrong, the world teaches us that coveting is OK, adultery is OK (unless you get caught, then all you need is a better lawyer), and fornication whenever, wherever and with whatever and with whomever is OK, as long as you have protection, and it seems even then it is still an option.
I am happy to know that God wishes to educate those of us that are not the sharpest crayons in the box, that He cares enough to spell it out in simple do and do not statements, shall and shall not. With God there is plain and simple truth, absolute truth that applies to everyone, for every situation. No conditionals, so situationals, just absolutes. We may not always like it, and we at times try to get around the truth as we ourselves see fit, but God is always there, showing us, reminding us, teaching us and correcting us, through His own methods, loving us in the way we need to go.
God Bless you,
Robert
Hi Heather…
sorry it took me so long to comment back. Last week was very busy, as we were in revival until Thur night, and then the weekend.. well, that is our busiest time. Didn’t want you to think we had forgotten you and wanted to thank you for your comments. They are always welcome. If you have a chance and the time, I posted two specific prayer request on my site this morning.. before the devotional. I would appreciate it if you would remember them.
Thanks… and God bless…
Phil
