Sorry I haven’t continued with my posting, it has been very hectic today. Weatherman predicted 12 inches of snow (not sure now if that forecast will last), we had problems with our back up system in case we lose power, I had to stock up on some food just in case we are snowed in, errands, and a Bible study. I am going to share that with you before continuing on with Revelation, it has to do with dealing with worry and fear.
Then I joined up with my girl scout troop and we went to the local Department of Environmental Protection and did some hands-on science. It was interesting, especially the water table with ground up plastic that was like sand. We were building streams and watching how the water would change the course of the stream. What would happen with a dam, etc, and how the stream changes with various landforms. Very interesting how one little pebble or piece of greenery can cause a difference in erosion. Kind of reminds me how those pebbles of thoughts, ideas and actions can cause a veering in the course of our life.
We also were looking at computer overlays of how the stream path changed over the years, photos from the 50′s through today.
My girl scout troop is looking to earn their silver award with an environmental project.
So, I just walked in the door today, now, and have to do a few other things. I have found it necessary to make sure laundry etc is done in case we lose power.
Thanks for your prayers and thoughts. Still battling that depression, and struggling with some things, so I do appreciate your love and concern. I still count myself very blessed to have you as friends.

The environmental thing sounds really interesting. Girl Scouts bring back many fond memories. I was in it right through high school. We learned alot of good stuff. It is nice to hear that your focus is on teaching the girls stuff . Around here, many troops collect dues to go on fun amusement park trips and not so much on the learning and exploring and service end of it. Guess your leader makes a big difference.
Yes, and considering I am the leader, you can guess what my focus is she says smiling.

I dont envy you and the snow and the loss of power, central ohioans couldnt cope,it’d be major catastrophe here!! Remeber, pointing to chest, then forhead, then finger upward…..seems like there should be some typing shortcut for that? I B G ……i guess. I think your an awesome girlscout leader,I’d like to join your troop, because I’d learn so much! Have a good weekend Heather.
Heather, Hi there sister ! Thank you for more comments {always encourageing} The thing that helps me with depression ,,,, Is always seeking God By reading His Word and Always Asking Him to Reveal His TRUTHS to me {Because the Truth Makes us Free} Plus if we get our minds on Him Totally then it’s easier to get our minds Off our own problems and off ourselves. Then too it is easier to cast our cares upon Him, At times it is even hard to just pick up my Bible and to open it , ….But i ask God to help me even do that{and He does} Thank God for His Mercy and His Grace !!!! Cause i wouldn’t make it at all without it. So allow our Father to do a work in you to where you can Just simply Let Him keep your head up , because there are so many others that need to hear the Good News that He gives to us…..HUGS !!!!!!…..You are Loved and Needed !!!!!!!! My Sister………..Love ya …Marie
Yes, I’m up at this time . . . not gone to bed yet, so spending some time in prayer first, and you are in my prayers. Here is a promise for you. Loving prayers . . . Carolyn
(Matthew 11:28-30) “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. {29} “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. {30} “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
{{{{{{{{{{{Heather}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} there are your hugs and I’m praying for ya girl! Enjoy your Saturday! And remember you’re a child of God….you are the Apple of His eye!!! ~Gena~
One step at a time!!! and you ARE taking a lot of steps–kind of like leaving things behind and walking on with Jesus. You may be battling depression, but you are moving on. That’s the spirit, Heather!!!! or as Joyce Meyer would say, “do it anyway”!!!
love you…..
