If you live near the outer banks or are hankering for a ministry conference, Pastor Don and three other pastors are speaking at a Ministry Conference November 18-20. Here are the details gleaned by the flier passed out at church.
Here are the keynote speakers: John W. Hobbs (evangelist from Maranatha Ministries Unlimited), Wally Odom (Pastor Liberty Fellowship), Don Moore (Pastor Living Word Chapel) and Jim Southern (Ordained Minister working in the private mental health field). there are also attending the following featured guests: Kenny Davis, Jim and Candy Southern, Scott and Lisa Hobbs, Creative Ministries, Selah— sign language and interpretive movement.
I have heard John Hobbs (who speaks often about the Father’s Love) and Pastor Don, awesome speakers, don’t know the other two, but suspect they are also good speakers.
There are three sessions at $10/session. and a banquet on Sat. night @$35.

I just want to give thanks for your intrest and prayers.
The wife had a heart cath last week and the results of that is she is fine, she can eat all the greasy food she wants. Stil do not know what ws causing some problems so as I said, either their was no problem or prayer took care of it. Ill credit The Holy Spirit with that for now. Only time will tell if there is a real problem or not. One of the things we hear about going to seminary is there is always one semester which tends to bring a student on his knees……….I hope this is mine. (LoL). we do appreciate the prayer and you always stay in mine. There are times when your dvotions or notes from studies you have been involved in help to give me the needed initiative to perservere. As we are told to share one another’s burdens, I will keep yours in mind as they arise. Thanks,

i understand you’re comment about tending to be a people pleaser due to the history of abuse. i’m not entirely certain even i completely understood what i was writing about, but there are people who do not have a similar history to yours who choose to manipulate others to satisfy their own wants/desires without regard for the person being manipulated. (an issue of putting self first along with the desire for control within a rather unhealthy relationship).
the timing of the notes you’ve posted from the study of revelation is perfect. i’ve read thru and am now reading for a second time the book of daniel. ( not so much with an intent of only dealing with the prophecy contained within, but also learn what the book itself is about – taking time to read books of the old testament with which i’m less familiar.) you’ve answered some of the questions i had concerning the different animals and which kingdoms they represent…. thank you….
