  • They are handsome, beautiful and charming!

I know I hate it when summer ends and the kids have thier busier schedules…

  • I hope and pray they have a wonderful year!!!!!!!!!!!!        ;)

  • Oh, your kids are gorgeous.  Thank you for the very encouraging comment you left.  Even at this age, it’s still hard to see them go back to school, tho.  Mine are 18, 17, and 15.

  • great family!

    praise GOD!

  • Oh my goodness, your house has gotta be a flurry of teenage stuff. I’ll bet theres never a dull moment. I wish my life were like that sometimes.

  • beautiful kids!

but, i’m writing to let you know that i’m praying you’ll ‘step out of the boat!’

  • Hey W, thanks for your comment!!!  I feel Job often, especially when people and things don’t behave the way I think they should, and especially when I fan the inner flame of discontent with my circumstances (some would call that “having a pity party”).

I think that the difficulty with Job that you mentioned (what about his kids that got killed?) is an excellent question.  I also think it’s answered by God’s living in eternity, and our not living in eternity.  When God allowed Satan to kill all Job’s offspring, they only left this life.  They then entered into God’s domain, where, I believe, he handled them as He handles all men:  Either they had faith, or they did not.  If they did, then God treated them with the same mercy He would give, say, Abraham or David.  If they lacked faith, then God treated them with the same judgment that that He would give, say, Ahab or Jezebel.  If a kid is hit by a car, and cut off from this life at age 12, doesn’t God know this, and doesn’t He design into that tragedy His goodness by insuring that His good purposes are going to come of it?  Whatcha think?

  • Oh, and what great looking kids!!!!

  • Cool pics. You’re certainly blessed. Peace to you.

  • Hey, thank you for the comment and for your prayers, it’s always so nice to hear from you. I’ll definitely pray for you, love. Tough times are a butt, I know. But use them to grow and be strengthened. Everything moves us to holiness, remember that. Everything we go through either teaches us what to do, or what not to do. Who to be, or who not to be. Et cetera. You get the picture. ;0). So be used in even the tough times… Sometimes it there that Jesus shines that brightest. (Psalm 18:28)

    Love.
