  • Thank you all for your prayers, we are home safely, and the kids are realizing how rapidly their summer is getting over, so we have been trying to pack a lot in a few days.

I am keeping the people down south in my prayers, it is so incredible to see such devistation and suffering.

I will try to write more tomorrow, but when I was typing in the hotel, Jim took this picture of me

Hope you have a blessed evening.

  • I like how your site is in the background.

I’m glad you had a good time.  You’re right, it’s horrible what the hurricane has done.  My thoughts are with those that have been affected…it’s horrible.

  • When we travelled recently I was amazed how many hotels had computers!

  • Ah the infamous “just-look-up-from-blogging-for-a-sec” picture… LoL!!

  • I a agree with you on some areas, but as I said, we should also be careful not to allow sentimentalism prevent us from walking according to the LORD’s commands. I am at work now but I have to look into your definition of legalism and come back with scripture. About helping new believers to grow, I believe that we have to be in step with the Holy Spirit. I believe in using wisdom and discernment. Those who grow up under our care often reflect who we are. Jesus said that the student can only be like the master. So it is good to seek to establish solid foundation at the very start. But all this with wisdom and founded on the word and not our own personal will.

The Bible says that those who have been forgiven much love much. When I look at my life, despite all I went through, I know that God forgave me much. Whatever I write, it is mainly a reflection of what I demande of my life and personal walk. In the long run, everything has to be done in the light of the Word and conviction of the Holy Spirit. Paul wrote that whatever we do without conviction is sin. I have come to learn not to base my walk on the opinion of men but rather on God’s word. I believe this walk is very personal and at times my convictions will not be those of others. But it is for each one of us to go on our knees before the LORD and seek wisdom from above. It is good to know what others think. That should in no way alter our zeal or passion.  Thanks for the response.
