Thank you so much for your prayers. Finally no more pain, and I have my massage today. I have been going to get massages for that problem. Since the last week of April I have dropped 18.6 pounds, and I am hoping as I lose more weight that that will also ease the problem.

I am going to continue with notes from the Prophesy update. You have to go back four or five entries to see the beginning.

The United Nations is saying that disasters are becoming more frequent. In the order of most frequency is floods, then wind events, diseases/epidemics, and earthquakes/mudslides/extreme temperatures.

In Revelation, there are many items that reflect global warming, and the World’s climate. HAARP-is like star wars. The strategic defense technology, and some of the new technology could be triggering floods, drought, and earthquakes.

The Christian Science Monitor 7/11/03 talks about how the Us is nearing the limit of its Global Stretch.

Peace keeping forces are placed around the world. United Nations Peace Keeping Operatives.

Our government has actually signed over to be under control of the UN Peacekeeping forces. Sometimes in our area they run exercises and you see them in their black uniforms, and they are not our military.

Under the auspices of “homeland security” all our rights are slipping away. People will not give up their rights except by fear.

You don’t want the world to talk about weapons that could give you control over the world due to changing of weather patterns, so instead the focus has been on global warming and carbon dioxide reduction.

When the Bible talks about natural disasters, it doesn’t talk about HOW, but WHAT.

In Revelation it talks about waters being ruined. We are doing that ourselves with undrinkable water. In Japan people cannot eat fish caught five miles off the coast, for the water isn’t safe.

One example of how bad our situation is, is that a few years ago we would have thought it a tremendous waste to be drinking bottled water. Now we think nothing of spending a dollar or two on a bottle of water.

In the early 1980′s there were more hurricanes, droughts. Could it be that Dufar, Sudan, and Ethiopia were chosen for tests?

If you do anything slow enough, the changes are not noticed by the people. Often we have seen things slip between our fingers one grain of sand at a time.

Pastor Don showed a lot of research done by Insurance companies.

The second largest insurance, Coastal National has written articles stating that natural disasters have spiraled out of control. They are paying out double to 152 billion. 30-40 billion in claims adjustment, the equivalent of the disaster of the World Trade Center annually. The temperature has increased .6 degrees (six tenth’s of a degree centigrade). That is the largest change in temperature in the past 1000 years.

FOX News said that in data collected since the 1800′s, 1/3 of the natural disasters occurred in the 90′s.

Some data. floods 700% increase, Hurricanes/tornados 600% increase, Volcanoes 400%, Landslides 200%.

1960-1989 – 1000 tornados reported.
1990 to present 100/year

The cost for dealing with these disasters has increased tremendously.

For God, the Bible says that one day is as 1000 years. From that timeline you can see that Adam did die in the day that he ate the forbidden fruit.

Jesus said that the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.

If you read Genesis 6 you will see what the days of Noah are like.

There were Nephalim (giants) on the earth, wickedness of man was great in the earth, the intent of the thoughts of man’s heart was evil continually.

It makes sense that the Day of the Lord must begin at the 6th Day.

In the last days shall be like Noah’s days. Every man did what he thought right in his own eyes.

There is a spirit of rebellion on earth today. Anarchy, terrorism, culture, mores, we are growing comfortable with lawlessness. Only when we are “sinned” against do we look for a police officer. People steal office supplies without giving a second thought, they lie for convenience. Example, have you ever told someone to say you are not at home when the phone rings?

In every generation the rich and powerful people have no respect of common man.

4% of the people control 90% of the wealth.

The Federal Reserve is not an official part of the US Government. They are a board of rich people, and they determine the value of our money. Lincoln stated that we should not let the world bank control our money.

The New World Order is a real body of people, and they have a plan for us. – Our thought is that it is satan’s plan, Babylon. A New World Religion.

Almost 100% of the father’s of our country were Masons, a secret society.

Even the design of our money reflects Masonic values. Look at the back of a one dollar Bill.

You will see the word ANNUIT COEPTS – He (satan) agrees with the cause

On the left side is a triangle with an eye – that is the Eye of Horus, the Eye of lucifer, satan.

There are 13 blocks of stone, NOVUS ORDO SECORIUM – New order of ages, new world order The date in numerical code is 5/1/1776 which is not July 4tha, but it is the birthdate of the Illuminate – a secret society.

Every mason above the 33 degree takes an oath against Christ.

666 – the Greek word in Strongs 5516 is chi xi stigma – 4742 is stigma, and that means to stick or prick, a mark incised or punched (for recognition of ownership) eg a scar of service.

There is an article called The Comming Cashless Society.

Biochips, will be used to make things more “convenient” for us.

There is an 18 digit number encoded on the back of each credit card, invisible to the naked eye. And this will be used to track us, our purchases, etc.

The number 666 plays a part in the new age, the Trilateral commission, the world bank, and the super computer in Europe is 666.

They want us to be scared of identity theft, and use that fear to convince us to take a chip, to ease our business transactions and protect our savings.

The Master Plan of the European Union is 10 global regions (kingdoms) of the earth.

At one point the United States was the strongest nation in the world. That is no more, The European Union is now the largest, and working hard at undermining our economy.

There is a Down Play of  America and a build up of global consciousness.

But to not resort to fear, for there is good news. The book of Daniel much of what will happen is prophesied.
Jesus said, IF the elect could be deceived, and if we keep studying the Word of God, we WILL NOT be deceived.

The question is, are we the elect or not. Are we like aliens on earth. Is Heaven our Home, are we ambassadors of Heaven? As we come to know more about God and Jesus and accept Him into our lives, we will not be tricked by the world events that are occurring.

Finally finished typing for Jim. Computer documentation is not easy to type with the commands that have to have proper spacing, etc,

I will continue to write about the prophesy conference, but wanted to share a bit from my daily Bible study, this one blew me away.

John 7:37-39 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”" But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

This was spoken during the Feast of Tabernacles, booths. A time when the Jews were required to go to Jerusalem, build booths, live in them for the week, and talk with their kids, and remember the wanderings in the wilderness, when God guided them to the promised land.

During this Feast every day a priest would go to the pool of Siloam (which means sent one) and dip out water from the pool, bring it back to the temple and pour out the water in the courtyard. This was to signify that God provided water in the wilderness. Remember Moses struck the rock and water gushed out. On the Last day, instead of priests doing this, the High Priest would take up a golden pitcher, and a huge procession would accompany him to the pool of Siloam, and the High Priest would dip out the water, come back and pour the water out before the altar. At that moment they were not commemorating the past, but anticipating the future. All the congregation would recite the following verse:

Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring;”

The priest would say, let us pray for the coming of the Messiah. This was the climax to the Feast of Booths. At that exact time, was when Jesus stood up and spoke the words in John 7:37-39

Jesus broke the silent meditation that was going on at this time, and spoke out. This occurred six months before His death.

Remember John 4 – Jesus told the woman at the well that He was the living water.

Now he is not just the internal water, but RIVERS of water.

Don’t forget that in Revelation it also talks about the river of water that will flow out from the throne of God, and Rev. 7:17, about the rivers of water.

The thing about water is that if you stop up the jug and don’t let it spill out, there is a limited amount that a vessel can contain, but if you keep spilling out the living water (spirit) then more will flow in.

A fountain of spirit. Now that is awesome!

More notes from Prophesy Conference, the notes for this conference begin on Saturday July 2, and continue. Because the conference was open to the public, Pastor Don would review and recap, so I will only include those facts which haven’t previously been covered.

Not all Bible prophesy is doom and gloom. about 99.4% of Bible Prophesy has already been fulfilled.

How is the remaining going to come to pass? We don’t know the details. Sometimes we don’t realize how God caused it to happen. Sometimes we discount it as Bible prophesy.

Pastor Don said that in our lives for example, sometimes we need money. If we pray to God, he will work, but it might be in a way that we don’t really think of as God working. For example, God may bring to mind to someone who owes us money, that they owe us money, and they pay us back. Our natural mind would not view that as having anything to do with God, but really it was God calling to the debtor’s mind that he owes us money.

If you look at situations on the earth today with the eyes of the spirit, you can see that it is what is prophesied.

One of the biggest lies of satan is that we have all the time in the world. When a person doesn’t act on information and a situation turns bad, often the person will thing that they had more time. They will think that it wouldn’t happen to me. We can’t claim the twinkie excuse.

He gave an example of someone who reads a cigarette package and finds out that smoking is hazardous to their health, and they keep smoking because they don’t feel effects, they can quit when they want to, they are in perfect health, etc. But later on down the road, when they have lung cancer they remember that they saw the signs earlier on, but they did not believe it was happening to them.

Pastor Don then asked the question, What does the Bible say and How does it say it will occur?

What does the Bible say about the earth. (Before we got to Job 26, Pastor Don told a joke, who was the shortest person in the Bible? In Job 25 it gives the answer, Bildad the Shuhite (shoe height).

Job 26

Job got information about the earth that he could only have gotten from God. At the time of Job many thought the earth was flat, it was held on the back of a turtle, Hercules, etc. They did not know what God knew about the earth, and what God shared with Job. It wasn’t until the 1800′s that they realized that there were mountains under the ocean.

Job 26:7-10 He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing. He binds up the water in His thick clouds Yet the clouds are not broken under it. He covers the face of His throne, and spreads His cloud over it. He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters, At the boundary of light and darkness.

Even with all of our knowledge today, scientifically we are still ignorant of our Earth. Each day more knowledge is increased, but if you go out to space, or look within an atom, there are vast areas of knowledge that we do not comprehend.

During the Black Plague the people were looking at the Jews because the Jewish people were not dying of the plague. Some accused them of causing the plague, but eventually smart doctors began to look at what the Jews were doing, and found out that they had elaborate rules for using the bathroom, and for washing. The townspeople would drop their excretions into the road, and that caused more disease. Moses had instructed the Israelites to take a shovel, do their business away from the tents, and bury it. They had to wash their hands in running water.  The Jews did not get the black plague because they practiced cleanliness.

Psalm 99:1 The Lord reigns. Let the peoples tremble! He dwells between the cherubim, Let the earth be moved!

(Heather’s note, the earth was moved recently after the tsunami, for the earth’s axis was shifted slightly). There are over 30 places in the Bible where God talks about moving, shaking or changing the earth.

At the day of the Lord, the Earth will be moved, the earth moved from its place. The Earth will be in a set place.

With the Big Bang theory the universe is expanding. Pastor Don used the illustration of a top. That when the top is spinning, it stands upright. When it starts to slow down the top will eventually tumble. Our earth was set spinning by God, and Hubble telescope is showing that now things are beginning to slow down. God programmed a certain amount of movement in the earth, when we reach a certain point, things will slow down, and that will cause many of the events.

Pastor Don gets very upset that people call bad weather or natural disasters acts of God, God is not there formulating them, except that as the earth slows down, then these events will occur.

It says in the Bible that God sustains everything with His Word.

At the end times, stars will fall from heaven, mountains will be moved (Heather’s note – after the tsunami islands disappeared and some were shifted in their location). There is a time for man to exist on the earth. For God it says that one day is as 1000 years.

The earth moved off  its axis from the tsunami.
Weather anomalies, unusual weather.

Hebrews 12:25-27 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven; whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

It appears from the language of the Bible that God has done the weather and earthquakes, so we call it an act of God. But there are other supernatural forces that also impact the earth and cause similar effects, satan will also whip up some wicked weather and events.

Remember the storm on the Sea of Galilee. The disciples (who were mostly fishermen) were scared of the storm. They had grown up fishing on those waters, so that storm was more than they normally experienced. Jesus stilled the waters with “Peace, be still.” Similar words to when he cast out the demons from possessed people. It was more than a natural storm.

God is allowing the end times to progress by a design that He programmed into the earth at the beginning of creation, over 6000 years ago.

If you look at patterns of disasters on the earth and the number of people affected you will see that there is an increase since 1975 of such disasters and the people affected.

There is a gradual increase of these events, except in 1988 there was a spike. (Heather’s question, what happened in 1988 that caused an increase?)

The United Nations did research on weather patterns, the charts Pastor Don used were from http://www.nupge.ca/news_2001/news_fe01/n20fe01a.htm which shows that weather patterns are worsening.

Although many want us to believe that aids is the worst killer on earth, really it is malaria, and that is caused by these weather problems. The mosquitoes who carry the disease have mutated. and now our medicines are not as effective. What the drug companies do not want us to know is that the us has a plant (artemisia – sp) that can kill malaria, but that would interfere with the profits of the drug companies.

There are climate changes because the earth has moved. The changes are seemingly small, 1% to 4%, but even such a small weather change can have a massive impact. Mt. Everest is beginning to dump water from melting snow and that is causing flooding. And that water is not going where it is needed and can be used. We need the water to go to the rivers and streams.

Right now, there is a move to blame the anomalies on greenhouse gasses, but the truth is, even if that was totally eliminated, it would not improve our situation, for it is more than just emissions. The planet is getting hotter by itself.

Pastor Don put up a list of the 10 top disasters. I wrote down what I could copy. (Any errors are my transcription or sloppy handwriting).

The numbers after the disaster reflect deaths from the disaster.

The United Nations is saying that disasters that happen most frequently are #1 floods, #2 Wind Events, #3 disease/epidemics #4 earthquakes/mud slides/extreme temperatures.

God has told us that these things would happen. Scientists are trying to intervene and fix the problems, but unfortunately scientists do not work in a vacuum, and when they try to play God, then it unleashes side effects on other parts of creation.

Continued: Notes from prophesy conference – First entry was Saturday.

There will be instant communication around the world.

Revelation 11:3, 7, 10 v.3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. (3 1/2 years) v.7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. v.10 And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

It is easy to see how this could be broadcast almost instantaneously around the world with news channels and live telecasts.

Revelation 9:16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. This occurs when the angels stop holding back the Euphrates River, and they were released to kill 1/3 of mankind.

It is quite possible that the numbers of horsemen in this amount could come from China where they have the population to form such an army.

Zephaniah 3:9 For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, that they may all call on the name of the Lord, to serve Him with one accord.

Pastor Don pointed out that Hebrew is the only language that was restored after being dead for thousands of years. There is no one who speaks Hittite, or Jebusite, etc. It was due to one leader (whose name I did not catch) who insisted that when the Jews returned to Israel, that they spoke Hebrew. This is a direct fulfillment of Zephaniah 3:9

In 1984 and 1991 there was the return of the Ethiopian Jews to Israel.

Zephaniah 3:10-11 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshippers, the daughter of My dispersed ones, shall bring offering. In that day you shall not be shamed for any of your deeds in which you transgress against Me; For then I will take away from your midst those who rejoice in your pride, and you shall no longer be haughty in My holy mountain.

It was not believed that there could be Jews in Ethiopia, but when the blood was tested, it showed that there was a direct blood line. And the rituals of the Jewish people were being practiced there. That led for a search across the globe for other dispersed Jews, and they were found all over the globe, including in China.

There was an appearance of a red heifer after 2000 years in May 1997. It is a funny story for someone in Ohio had a perfect heifer, and called Israel. They flew over to examine it and the heifer was without spot or blemish, but the owner had put an ear clamp on it, and thus ruining the heifer by a mark. But then red heifers were born in Israel.

Numbers 19:2-7 talk about the red heifer if you care to look that up.

A red heifer is required to purify the water that the priests would wash in before they could serve in the temple. So there can’t be a sacrifice without a red heifer.

Someone wondered why a red heifer (cow)? And did an analysis of the ashes of a red heifer (for the heifer was sacrificed and burned, and the ashes were used for purification). It turns out that it has germ killing properties.

Some of the slides at the conference were shown so fast that I could not take down the notes. I tried to get the website address, or what facts I could.

Someone did research to see what people felt was morally acceptable.

sexual fantasies 59%
profanity 36%
homosexuality 30%
prescription drug taking not prescribed by physician. 17%
(there were more but I did not get them written down)

It is funny that in this day and age that only 17% felt that it was ok to take prescription drugs, much lower than sexual fantasies or gambling.

A faith commitment impacts the view of the above behaviors.

For acceptable behavior evangelicals believed that items in the above list were ok was less than 1 in 10 of the items were ok. Christians in general felt that  1 in 10 of the activities were ok, atheists and agnostics felt that 9 out of the 10 behaviors were acceptable.

There is a marked moral decline in our society.  Revelation 13 talks about he beast from the sea, and how people will begin to worship him.

Often we take the easy way out, but freedom is a responsibility that comes with a cost.

The way our society is causing us to back down right now is with the word TOLERANCE. This is being preached all over the place, that we have to be tolerant of this behavior and that behavior. Meanwhile, they are not tolerant of our beliefs and we keep giving moral ground away.

It comes down to a lie of proximity. The way they attack our views and beliefs is gradually. Pastor Don gave an example. He told someone to sit in the chair. The person then asked if they could stand, if they stood still. Pastor Don said no, but the person then persisted in asking until Pastor Don gave them the permission to stand. The person stood for a bit, then said that Pastor Don was being UNFAIR because they stood quietly, they should be allowed to take one step, just one step. Of course one step led to another and another and another. And  the demands escalated until all ground was given.

Many of the things we are asked to be tolerant about are things that years ago would not have been an issue. Why do we keep giving ground?

It has gotten so bad that our school boards, government, and even some religious leaders have been sucked into this tolerance stance.

Pastor Don then talked about the UPC code. (here is a website that seems to confirm this http://www.av1611.org/666/barcode.html) but apparently now if you want to buy or sell anything in a store you must pay $32 and get a UPC code. This is a world wide phenomena. If you look at a code, you will see that there is a 0 followed by some lines without numbers, then a series of numbers, then two lines without numbers, a series of numbers,lines without numbers and an 8. Pastor Don asked the company what the lines without numbers were. It turns out that they have the value of 6, and there are three of them (666). It apparently is part of a computer code that causes things to be executed.

Then he went through current newspapers to find articles that seemed to fit with end times prophesies. There were many.
Bush says the sacrifice is worth it in Iraq
China and its economy
Holy Heists, religious statues stolen (more focus will be given to idol worship.

A careful reading of the newspaper will give much fodder for thinking.

This was the end of day one. The rest of the two days gave information, some of it repeat, so I will only share what is new to this.

Here are a few more notes from the Prophesy Conference. See previous entry for the start. This will probably take several days to type out for it was 10 or more hours of conference.

 Yesterday we went over the signs of the end times.

Then Pastor Don spoke about the Fig Tree (which is the symbol of Israel). Here are a lot of verses that talk about this.

Hosea 9:10 I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season. But they went to Baal Peoor, and separated themselves to that shame; They became an abomination like the thing they loved.

Israel was the first fruit, they were to be a model for surrounding peoples to see how a nation, ruled by God would be. Instead, they started worshipping idols, and separated themselves from God.

Jeremiah 24:2-7 One basket had very good figs, like the figs that are first ripe, and the other basket had very bad figs which could not be eaten they were so bad. Then the Lord said to me, “What do you see, Jeremiah?” And I said, “Figs, the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, which cannot be eaten, they are so bad.” And the world of the Lord came to me saying, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: “Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge those who are carried away captive from Judah, whom I have sent out of this place for their own good, into the land of the Chaldeans. For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; I will build them and not pull them down, and I will plant them and not pluck them up. Then I will give them a heart to now Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.

God knew that for their own good they Israelites have to be scattered, for that matter (my notes from another source) so that they could be cured of their idol worship. When they come back to Israel, they will then return to God with their whole heart. This came true when they returned and rebuilt the temple, and later they will come at the end times, and then their hearts will be fully for God.

Matthew 24:32-33 Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves you know that the summer is near. So also when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!

Return of Jerusalem to Israel

Luke 21:24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

This happened in AD 70, and it was not until 1948 that Israel began returning to Jerusalem.

Luke 21:32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass way til all things take place.

Now that Jerusalem is in the hands of Israel, the time is close to the end.

There are two theories of what a generation is, one is a generation is 40 years as in Numbers, and in Psalms it is 70 years.

40 years

Numbers 32:13 So the Lord’s anger was aroused against Israel, and He made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation that had done evil in the sight of the Lord was gone.

Psalm 90:10 The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off and we fly away.

During the Six Day War, Jerusalem was recaptured by the Israelites. Many think that the time clock for Israel was restarted once Jerusalem is in the hands of the Israelites.

Then Pastor Don talked about what was meant by Tribulation. which is pressure, persecution.

Matthew 24:8-9 All these things are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you and you will be hated by all nations for My names sake.

The word sorrows is also the word for birth pangs. All the precursors to tribulation are kind of like labor pains. And if you study the statistics (to be shared later) you will see that more Christians have been martyred for Christ in the past 10 years than in the whole history of Christianity.

Another sign of the end times is a moral breakdown.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.

This could be a picture of what is happening today.

1 Timothy 4:1-3 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know.

This is a picture of the new age, eastern religions, meditation, belief in past lies, reincarnation, and Christian denominations that start making legalistic rules and regulations that are not taught in the Bible.

Daniel 2:32-33 This image’s head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.

This image that Nebuchadnezzar saw, portrays the whole history of the world, in who came into power. We are now down at the portion of the feet with 10 toes, partly of iron and partly of clay. Not too firm a foundation. Many have said that Daniel’s prophesies are so accurate that they were written later, after the events occurred. This was only a valid criticism until the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls when it was shown that these prophesies were written when it is said they were written, and unchanged over the thousands of years.

Daniel 2:40-43 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.

There is going to be an increase in knowledge and travel.

Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.

This is an incredible prophesy in the time of Daniel. They did not have the modern transportation that we have. Today we think nothing of traveling hundreds of miles in one day, a trip that in Daniel’s day would take way longer. It was a big thing to travel from their home village to Jerusalem for the festivals. And we are definitely in the information age. The amount of information we get is exponentially increasing.

We now have the technology for the mark of the beast. The US Patent office, Patent number 5638832 is the patent for a scanning device that can be put under you skin.

Near our area is a gigantic tracking dish. You can go there and for $1500 have a device implanted under you skin for you, your child or your pet, to help track them if they are lost.

There was even an experiment done in California where a prisoner was offered freedom if they could hide from the trackers for 24 hours. They imbedded one of these chips under his skin, he was told to run and hide. He hid in a dumpster in a large city, and was found within two hours.

Now there are a lot of scare tactics about terrorism, lost kids on milk cartons, and fears about kidnapping. All is useful for convincing people to take this chip under their skin.

Revelation 13:16-17 He (the antichrist) causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; His number is 666.

Our government and others are working very hard to make a one-world government, the European Union is part of this plan.

I will continue later, but am getting the hint that others want a turn here on the computer. These Bible verses lay a foundation for what will be shared next.

The past three days I haven’t been on Xanga much, but for good reason. Pastor Don was doing his annual prophesy conference. This is a conference not only for Christians, but for any others who might be interested, so that they can see how accurately the Bible Prophesies are, and thus be saved. I took copious notes, web site info, etc, and will share what I can with you over the next few days. There are some things I want to verify, and if you have any information regarding what I share that adds more depth to what is being shared, I would love to hear from you. It is sure feeling closer and closer to the end times.

This will be long, so I will do it in parts.

Day One

Pastor Don brought us to Matthew 24, pretty much the whole chapter.

First Jesus talks about the Temple in verse 2, saying, “….assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

This prophesy came true in 70 A.D., about 40 years after Jesus’s death. The Jews rebelled and the Roman soldiers came to bring them under control. The soldiers were under strict orders not to destroy the temple. In those days, the temple was splendid, decked in gold covered walls, with golden tools for the altar and many costly items within. The Roman captain wanted to preserve the riches. The Jews were in siege, and they would sneak out through hidden tunnels and kill Roman soldiers. More soldiers died than in most of the previous battles, which infuriated the soldiers. When they realized what was happening an awful battle happened. During the scuffle, there was a fire, and the gold melted. The gold flowed between the cracks of the stones that comprised the temple walls. The Roman’s were instructed to tear the temple down stone by stone and scrape the gold out. By the time the gold was removed there was no stone of the temple standing. The only remaining part of the temple was an outer wall, that is now known as the wailing wall.

V. 3 Jesus’ disciples ask Him what would the sign of His coming be, and of the end of the age. and Jesus replies in verses 4-8 “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, “I am the Christ” and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these things are the beginning of sorrows.”

We can see some of this happening now with the New Age movement. Many are walking around saying that they have the Christ consciousness, and some even claim to be Christ. Before the 1980′s and 90′s the teaching was different and some claimed to be god, but now there are massive numbers claiming to be Christ. Christ means anointed one.  V. 6 wars – we have more wars and people killed on our planet today than combined wars of the past. We do not hear about all the wars, but there are tons.

Regarding v. 7 nation (it comes from a Greek word that means ethnic group). In Jesus’ time when these prophesies were made, many of the countries that exist today were not in existence. This was his way of pointing out that there would be battles world wide. When the Roman soldiers would conquer lands often the soldiers would have sex with the women, produce offspring and carry on, we did not have the sense of ethnic groups, racial prejudice, that we have today. It was just country against country, and who paid taxes to whom, and was subservient to whom.

During the prophesy conference (later on) Pastor Don will share hard statistics, but for now let it suffice to say that there is an increase in the frequency and deaths from earthquakes, unpredictable weather, weather patterns changing, pollution on the planet, cataclysmic events.

There are wars and rumors of wars. There are many boundary disputes in the Middle East, Africa has civil war, and battles are being fought.

Increase in knowledge. It is no mistake that we live in what is called the information age, and our knowledge is increasing exponentially. We have instant access to much through the computer.

People are hated for Jesus’ sake. These days more martyrs for the faith have died, than at any time in the past.

It is apparent that there are many false prophets, and many are found to be false. Our crime rate has increased, because lawlessness abounds. This is will be shown as very apparent, from the date that the 10 commandments was removed from the classroom.

And with our telecommunications and ability to travel, more of the world has had a chance to have the gospel preached to their population.

There are more signs these days fulfilled than at any other time in the world.

Pastor Don pointed out what a bold prophesy this was from a no-name Jewish carpenter. How could He know that his words would spread world wide. In those days it was several day’s journey to travel the distance we can do in a few minutes in a car.

After Christ died, we went through a period known as the church age, but the prophesy clock started up on May 15, 1948.

This date is very important for it was the date of the return of the Jewish people to Israel.  When the temple was destroyed in 70 AD, many thousands of Jews were put to the sword, and the remaining ones who survived were dispersed across the world a few thousand to many places. No other country who was similarly destroyed ever re-emerged as a country except Israel. And no other country so destroyed ever retained their native language. Pastor Don asked if anyone spoke Amorite, Jebusite, or any of the other ite languages of the Old Testament. Usually with such rampant destruction a whole culture dies out, but this is not the case for Israel.

Here were some of the prophesies that illustrate the return of the Jews to Israel.

Isaiah 11:11 It shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left. From Assyria and Egypt, from Pathros and Cush (Africa), from Elam and Shinar (China) from Hamath and the islands of the sea.

This happened twice, once the rebuilding of the Temple, and now, in 1948 it occurred again with the Zionist movement.

Jeremiah 30:3 “For, behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,” that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah”, says the Lord, “And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.”

Deut. 4: 27-28 And the Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you. And there you will serve gods, the work of men’s hand, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell.

Again this happened several times in Jewish history, and most recently many are scattered, and in our modern world there are still idols worshipped.

Deut 4: 30-31 When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the later days, when you turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice, (For the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.

Again this prophesy came to pass several times in the history of the Jews, and will again come to pass in the end days, when God will gather his precious people back to Him.

Amos 9:10 All the sinners of My people shall die by the sword, Who say, “The calamity shall not overtake nor confront us.”

We do have a choice. We can hide our heads in the sand, ignore the prophesies and believe that they will not occur, or we can look at the prophesies and take comfort because God has everything under control.

The prophesies are not to cause fear and trembling, but rather to provide hope, encouragement and an eye opening for people who refuse to believe until they see the prophesies occurring.

False prophets (Jim Jones, David Korech, etc) and most insidious the New Age.

Famines (Africa, Ethiopia, Sudan)

Earthquakes; between 1890-1900 there was only one major earthquake, now we get hundreds per year.

1. What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?

If possible (and it always isn’t) I love to sleep longer on a rainy day. Wake up to a leisurely breakfast, and have some fun with my kids. One of our favorite rainy day things is to go to a movie with them, or to rent movies and pop popcorn and watch. If we are watching at home, we like to watch old science fiction movies like the Fog or the Creature from the Deep or a Harryhausen movie like Jason and the Argonauts. We used to always watch Mystery Science Theater 2000 when it was on the Sci-Fi channel (before they changed their format). They had robots and a man who made funny comments about the mistakes in the movie. We still do that when we watch the old movies.

2. What accomplishment of yours are you the most proud of?

I think the thing I am most proud of is becoming a parent totally unlike my parents. Knowing that my kids know that I love them. I have not brought the abuse of my past into a future generation. And with the help of God, I have redeemed a lot of the hurt from my past. There is much more to go, but if you had known me many years ago, you would not recognize me today. God has worked a mighty wonder.

3. If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?

I think I would love to trade places with Beth Moore (I am assuming you mean someone alive today). I am drawn by how much she has a relationship with God, and how her mind works to sort out spiritual matters in her life. I would love to learn more about her devotional life, and to watch how she creates her studies.

If I could pick anyone at all in the past, I would want to be John, to be close to Jesus in the way that he was, to see Heaven, and all the things that Jesus did with the disciples. I do have to admit, I would not have liked to have faced the suffering he went through, but if I were Him, I would know learn how he was able to hold true to God in the face of it.

4. How would you define love?

There are different kinds of love. But the one that I am trying to learn about, to realize that God has for us all, and to be able to emulate is the agape love that is best described in I Corinthians 13:4-8a Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; hears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. … If you substitute the word God, for the word love in the above, you see a picture of God that I am trying to learn about. I fail so much in that perfect love, but it is a goal of mine to come closer to this every day.

5. If you had to pick 1 word to describe yourself, what would you choose and why?

growing.  I am growing in my understanding of God every day, growing closer to my kids, growing and learning how to be a decent mom. Growing in how I view the world, in how I act in the world. Feeling like I am growing closer to people, here on Xanga and in my circle of friends. And as I grow in these ways, it helps me to be more caring, and to see life in such a different way.
