Procrastination. I am so good at it that I am a PRO at procrastination. Well, the good news is that I met my goal and some. I lost 2.4 pounds this week (probably some from last week) and I am now 21.4 pounds lighter than when I started at the end of April. It is a good feeling, but I am now undergoing a challenge, two in reality. I am getting close to the time when last I backed off from Weight Watchers. And next week I will be on vacation, so it will be a challenge.
Just so you know, we are going camping from Friday to Friday, so I will not be on the computer for this week. Please do not worry if you do not hear from me or I don’t update.
While I am gone I am going to ask you a favor. Besides the Bible, what are your favorite books, and why. I am looking to add to my pile of books to read.
I plan to do Bible studies on vacation and picked up Mitchner’s The Source to read for fiction.
Tomorrow I have to take the Pro out of procrastination and begin packing. We have put it off till the last minute. I guess that lets you know how excited I am about camping. Now if the campgrounds had roomservice, a remote control and a king sized bed and air conditioning I could rough it more excitedly. Unfortunately we are talking tent and cots. The good news is it is at Hither Hills State Park, which is on the beach at Montauk. That is good.
Take care of yourselves. I will try to write some or check in tomorrow, but methinks I will be packing. Sigh.

Congratulations on the weight loss. I love the book, The Kingdom of God by John Bright because he does an incredible job of showing the kingdom starting in the Old Testament and through to the New Testament.
Oh…a WHOLE week camping?!? You’ve got guts, I can barely stand overnight!
I’ll be praying you make it back with a sound mind…
One of my favorite books is “The Bait of Satan” by John Bevere. Full of information we all could use.
Have a great trip! ~D~
OH good for you HEATHER congrats on the weight loss! THATS awesome!
Oh gosh I have so many books girl in my library here probably one of my favorites of all time I read alot ( more then once would be considered a fave)
Approval Addiction: Overcoming Your Need to Please Everyone
BY Joyce Meyer is one I have really gotten into lately!
I totally love this book and it sure has helped me to overcome alot.
Another is The Beloved Disciple: Following John to the Heart of Jesus
BY Beth Moore
this book was one I have read twice and love alot!
OH and BTW…….I am a procrastinator…………..too!!!! hugs and God Bless YOU!!
Have a GREAT time, Heather!!!!
I’m like you–give me a/c and a good bed!!!!
Have a great vacation!! My favorite books (besides the Bible) The Visitation and This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti, The Chronicles of the Host by D. Brian Schaffer (4 books) and I also enjoyed the Left Behind Series.
ugh. I absolutely haaaaaaaaaaaaate camping!
Okay let me see…a series I am really taken with right now is the Circle Trilogy by Ted Dekker. I started the series last week and finished it already and am blown away that I have finished it already. There are three books – Black, Red, & White. The titles of the books to the believer in the body of Christ are pretty symbolic of what each represents. They are Christian fiction stories but they are phenomenal! I’m looking for Three by Ted Dekker right now to start next. I also like Frank Peretti. And of course, as always C.S. Lewis is a good read.
Have fun camping!
Camping? Ugh! I don’t camp well. I am too much of a sissy… I hate bugs, poison ivy, flies, spiders, sleeping on the ground, no bathrooms, skunks, animals… yeah, I just don’t do camping well at all.
I hope you have fun.

CONGRATS ON THE WEIGHT LOSS & BE HEALTHY!!!!
good for you on the weight loss!
Hey, congrats on your weight loss! I, too, am a procrastinator… I recently started carrying around a “to-do” list of stupid little things I’ve been putting off that I want to get off my chest, so far it’s going pretty well.
Books!!!
“Blue Like Jazz”- Donald Miller, “Searching for God knows what”- Donald Miller, “The Ragamuffin Gospel”- Brennan Manning, “The Signature of Jesus”- Brennan Manning, “Praise Habit”- David Crowder
Wow……..have fun camping!!!!!!!!!
Ah, unfortunately I’m a professional procrastinator myself. Sadly the only thing I’ve really learnt from highschool is how to be even more of a slacker. *pout* No, I’ve learnt other things too of course.
Congrats on the weight loss!
Have a WONDERFUL time camping Heather!! I hope to hear all about it when you return a look forward to seeing those pictures!
Praying for you and God bless!
