Finally finished typing for Jim. Computer documentation is not easy to type with the commands that have to have proper spacing, etc,
I will continue to write about the prophesy conference, but wanted to share a bit from my daily Bible study, this one blew me away.
John 7:37-39 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”" But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
This was spoken during the Feast of Tabernacles, booths. A time when the Jews were required to go to Jerusalem, build booths, live in them for the week, and talk with their kids, and remember the wanderings in the wilderness, when God guided them to the promised land.
During this Feast every day a priest would go to the pool of Siloam (which means sent one) and dip out water from the pool, bring it back to the temple and pour out the water in the courtyard. This was to signify that God provided water in the wilderness. Remember Moses struck the rock and water gushed out. On the Last day, instead of priests doing this, the High Priest would take up a golden pitcher, and a huge procession would accompany him to the pool of Siloam, and the High Priest would dip out the water, come back and pour the water out before the altar. At that moment they were not commemorating the past, but anticipating the future. All the congregation would recite the following verse:
Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring;”
The priest would say, let us pray for the coming of the Messiah. This was the climax to the Feast of Booths. At that exact time, was when Jesus stood up and spoke the words in John 7:37-39
Jesus broke the silent meditation that was going on at this time, and spoke out. This occurred six months before His death.
Remember John 4 – Jesus told the woman at the well that He was the living water.
Now he is not just the internal water, but RIVERS of water.
Don’t forget that in Revelation it also talks about the river of water that will flow out from the throne of God, and Rev. 7:17, about the rivers of water.
The thing about water is that if you stop up the jug and don’t let it spill out, there is a limited amount that a vessel can contain, but if you keep spilling out the living water (spirit) then more will flow in.
A fountain of spirit. Now that is awesome!

RYC—ahhhh….how true…how true. Great post—’for all who are thirsty….come.’ Peace to you.
Heather: Thanks for the post. I just wanted to encourage you that even tho you qualified it by saying you are young in the Lond, be encouraged that if all Christians were doing what you are doing, the face of the church would be vastly different. You are truly trying to have a relationship with Christ and make Him part of your day, not just an add-on.

You are so funny….spitting the seeds! Hahahahaha….you have a great sense of humor!
I loved the living waters devotional you posted. So beautiful to have that overflowing!!!!
Hope you are doing well….
Your post helped my mood…I am so saddened by some sites that I visited today…I just didn’t realize how many young people feel the need to self mutiliate…it breaks my heart. One girl commented back to me on my site, if you’d like to check it out…I was glad that I helped her, but I know just through websites, it isn’t enough…
Totally! Hehe.
Aw… thank you. That’s touching. I appreciate your kind, kind heart.
You’re beautiful.

Hi Heather. Great post! Thanks for stopping by! I love that part of not getting a toaster! Blessings to you!
Well, my xanga friends always get it first. I will be ministering on the Laodicean Church which I posted on xanga a few months ago called “A Letter From God”. Usually when God gives me something, I usually study it out and post it. I shared that teaching in my church about a month after I posted it. I will let you know how it goes and will look back and find the dates I posted it, it was in 2 parts. I have been stopping in and reading you when I have a chance, you take excellent notes and they are usually right on the money. You are blessed to be at a church that is teaching the true word of God…..get it all girl!!! God bless you and thank you. love you
Sukkoth and Passover are my favorite feasts. I love that teaching of Jesus. There are two verses in Isaiah (12:2-3) that are used as the beginning of the Havdallah blessing over the wine (Havdallah is the ceremonial dinner at the close of the Sabbath in which distinctions between light and darkness, good and evil, the Sabbath and the rest of the week, etc. are pointed out). This blessing speaks of drinking from the wells of Salvation, which can also be translated as the wells of Y’shua (which is exactly the Hebrew word used in the blessing). Thought you would find that interesting.
Amen, Heather. Thanks for stopping by my site and for your comments. So true. The Lord Jesus YIELDED up His spirit. Plus the bible says in Mark 15:37 that Jesus cried out with a LOUD voice and breathed His last. Further proof that He was in control of His death on the cross. A person who is crucified on a cross dies a suffocating death as it gets harder and harder to breath the longer they hang there. So for the normal person, to cry out with a loud voice after hanging there for several hours would probably be impossible. Have a great weekend, Heather, and God bless you always. Peacemaker
hello! thank-you for your comment! have a very blessed day in Him!
I love all the analogies about Jesus and water. You could drink from it for years!
Thank you for your prayers about the job. Still waiting and praying!
Great exposition; most people don’t know the background of these verses. What sources do you find most helpful?
He is the King of perfect timing…. even His sense of humor is perfect in timing!
A fountain of spirit—I like that too!!!! That’s awesome!!!!
love u!!!!
Yes, it is written, as you said, living waters will flow out from the throne of God.
John 4:10 ‘”Yahushua answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of Elohim, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.”‘
And where is the throne of God?
John 7:38 ‘”He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”‘
You also reminded me of one of my favorite words that was ministered by a traveling ministry when we lived down south. The title & main message was: “You can’t fill a full vessel…”
Thanks for continually ‘pouring out’!
Have a great day!
love, ~Ev
